Online Orientation
New hires are invited to complete an online orientation before their first day of work begins to learn about ASU, the UNC system and the many benefits available to State employees.- Appalachian State University - Faculty Orientation

Department Orientation
New employees are led through an informal department orientation to learn the fundamentals, policies, and procedures for their every day job responsibilities. Each department handles this differently; see your manager for details.University Classroom Training
Description: New
employees are required to attend these two ½-day
class designed to introduce them to the culture,
organization, key policies, perks and benefits
of working at Appalachian.
Audience: New EPA (non-teaching) and SPA employees
Date & Time: The
FIRST Wednesday and Thursday of each month (except
December) from 8:30 am – 12:30
pm
Location: Founders Hall, Room 129
