About The Office of Human Resource Services
Our Purpose:
Human Resource Services is an area of Appalachian State University that functions under the direct supervision of the Chancellor. The Department is responsible for:
- Administration of policies and procedures for all Staff employees,
- Placement of Staff employees into positions,
- Classification and pay,
- Administation/Development of fringe benefits packages for all Faculty & Staff employees, and
- Development of Training programs for Staff & Supervisors
The Office of Human Resource Services is located on the 1st floor of Founder's Hall on Appalachian State's campus. Our office is open to the public 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We are here to serve all of your Employment needs and are willing to help in any way that we can.
